Why I am not on Facebook

I have three main reasons:

1. I hate the applications – I do not want to know nor do I care about someone's Mafia Wars status.
2. Facebook blurs acquaintances, friends, good friends and family. Some people should not have to get a status update on my kids.
3. Facebook makes it hard to distinguish a public and private persona.

I will be still blogging and on other social networking sites but not facebook.
